Q2: Is this probe compatible with older 3300 or 190 series transducer systems? However, mixing components may limit performance to the older spec. Also note mounting, physical size, environmental ratings may differ. It is prudent to use all matched components (probe + extension cable + Proximitor sensor) from the same series for optimal performance. |

Q3: What is the nominal gap (probe tip to target) and how critical is it? Deviations in gap or target material may affect accuracy, linear range, scale factor.It is critical to adhere to the recommended gap range for best performance. |

Q4: Can this probe measure both vibration and static position? and static displacement (position) changes as long as the system downstream (e.g., monitoring electronics) is configured accordingly. The datasheet states the system is capable of both static (position) and dynamic (vibration) measurements. |
